Three main mountain ranges cover a large part of the county Donegal, Derryveagh to the north, Glendowans in the middle and the Bluestacks to the south. Mount Errigal is the highest and is part of the Derryveagh. There are some wonderful mountain and hill walks to be experienced and enjoy with some spectacular panoramic views to be seen from the many summits. The walks are rugged and not to be taken for granted and fortunately we have a very proffessional Mountain Rescue Team on hand to assist ones who inadvertantley get into difficulties
